At Easter we will be moving Travelling Thru from her current home on Frouds Bridge Marina to her new residence at Dunchurch Pools Marina near Rugby.
The precise journey plan is dependant on the weather.
We intend to leave Frouds Bridge on Saturday 13th April bound for the Thames. We expect to spend the best part of a week sightseeing on the Thames, going down to Henley, Marlow and perhaps beyond before returning to Reading and heading off up to Oxford via Pangbourne, Goring, Wallingford and Abingdon.
At Oxford, we’ll either divert onto the South Oxford Canal or carry on up the Thames to the Lechlade. It will depend on weather, time and how strong the river flow is.
Once we’ve left the Thames, out next stop will be Thrupp. We will then carry on up to Banbury where we may stop for a couple of nights. After that we head for Napton Junction, Braunston and Dunchurch Pools Marina.
